Love Divine, the second album by Green Was Greener, unfolds through a visual cosmos shaped by themes of loss, mortality and inner transcendence. Planetary forms interlock like fragments of a celestial chain, suggesting parallel worlds suspended between dream and devotion, and framing the album as a contemplative, almost liturgical object.
The artwork references antique bookmaking through a dominant red palette, gold-foiled typography and a condensed serif typeface treated as ornament. Typography forms dense, rhythmic structures instead of linear text, while the inner sleeve introduces traced line-art illustrations of constellations, zodiac signs and mythic figures, extending the album’s narrative through pre-scientific cosmological imagery and material presence.
